Active Works purchased six Perception Kiwi open cockpit kayaks. These boats are very stable and are ideal for the nervous paddler or people with disabilities. We have both single and dual seat boats in the fleet and they are regularly used, both on the river and in pool sessions in the area. |

To enable wheelchair users to ride the “zip” wire feature on this 50ft high, High Ropes course at Harlow Outdoors, Active Works has provided an electric hoist. This lifts the person from their chair up to the platform shown in the photo, so that they may then "zip" over the Centre and abseil down to the ground at the other end. |
